Our friend, Kelly Rae Smith, is a writer, avid music supporter, & the high priestess of vintage – as well as a super bad ass babe. Consider us #blessed.
For the past 5 years, she’s put together fashion shows using her hand-selected finds from her collection of treasures that makes up her shop Runaway Sue Vintage. Each show has benefited a deserving organization. This year is no different, as she was inspired to have a 3 day event showcasing a collective of vintage from various vendors to benefit Girls Rock Charleston & We Are Family; two organizations dedicated to liberation & protecting & empowering girls & LGBTQI youth.
When she asked us to style a few looks using some of the aforementioned vintage pieces in honor of the event, we of course jumped at the opportunity with a cool “Yas. Werk.”
Our theme was 80’s Boudoir, resulting in a lot of nighties that recall pastel confections. Also consider yourself warned that we deem sequins as a neutral (& we hope you will join us)..
